KADA (Lembaga Kemajuan Pertanian Kemubu)
Its establishment was formalized on 30 March 1972 under Act 69, the Kemubu Agricultural Development Authority Act 1972, and was officially launched by Y.A.B. Tun Hj. Abdul Razak bin Hussein, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, on 2 March 1973.

Following the establishment of KADA, the Kelantan State Government approved the Kemubu Agricultural Development Authority Enactment 1972 (Enactment No. 2 of 1972, Kelantan), enabling the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries to implement the Kemubu Agricultural Development Authority Act 1972 effective from 1 August 1972.
Kemubu Village, located on the banks of the Kelantan River, approximately 30 km from Kota Bharu, has its name etched in the history of KADA. It is here that a pumping station was built to supply water to the Kemubu Irrigation Scheme (RPK), the largest project among a cluster of irrigation schemes unified under the management of KADA
