The Change Upgrade Product (CUP) Matching Grant Program is one of the initiatives under agricultural and food industry entrepreneur development, coordinated by the Food and Agro-Based Industry Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM). Change Upgrade Product (CUP) merupakan salah satu program di bawah inisiatif pembangunan usahawan pertanian dan industri makanan yang diselaraskan oleh Bahagian Industri Makanan dan Asas Tani, Kementerian Pertanian dan Keterjaminan Makanan (KPKM)
The objectives of the program are to increase income by diversifying product SKUs, enhance entrepreneurs’ capacity to remain competitive in the market, promote market expansion and active product promotion to create wider market opportunities, develop high-value, quality products that meet market standards, and generate new employment opportunities, particularly for local communities.
This program is targeted at micro-level food and agro-based industry entrepreneurs with an annual gross sales value of under RM 300,000. The matching grant assistance offered includes:
